In short
- Your first month is free, and we move your data across at no cost.
- Your data is yours. Export it as CSV whenever you like.
- You pay the price in your quote, plus GST. There is no lock in beyond the period you choose.
- You are responsible for your staff, your subscribers’ consent and your tax filings.
1. The service
Fibrelane is software for running an ISP’s back office: subscribers, KYC, plans, GST invoices, payments, reminders, equipment, static IPs, complaints and staff. We may improve or change features over time. Features we describe as coming soon are not part of the service until they launch.
2. Free month and moving your data
- Your first month is free. We set it up with your own plans and customers.
- We move your plans and customers from your sheets into Fibrelane at no cost.
- At the end of the month, you can choose a paid plan or stop. If you stop, you can export your data for [30 days], after which we delete it.
3. Your account and staff
You decide who on your team gets an account and which role they have. You are responsible for what happens under your accounts, for keeping sign in details safe and for removing staff who leave. Tell us at support@fibrelane.com if you think an account has been misused.
4. Your data
You own the data you put into Fibrelane, including your subscribers’ details. You are the data fiduciary for your subscribers under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You confirm that you collect their data lawfully, with any consent the law requires, and that KYC documents are genuine to the best of your knowledge.
You allow us to store and process this data only to provide, secure and support the service for you, as set out in our privacy policy. You can export it as CSV at any time.
5. Fees and payment
- After the free month, you pay the fees in your quote or order form, billed [monthly or yearly] in advance.
- Fees are in rupees and do not include GST, which we add to each invoice.
- Invoices are due within [15] days. If payment is late, we will remind you, and after [15] more days’ notice we may pause your access until it is paid. Your data is not deleted while access is paused.
- We will give you at least [30] days’ notice before changing your fees, and new fees apply from your next billing period.
6. Billing and tax for your subscribers
Fibrelane works out GST on your subscribers’ invoices from the settings you choose. You are responsible for those settings, including your GSTIN and the rates you apply, and for filing your own returns. Fibrelane does not currently support IGST invoices for customers in other states.
7. Online payments and messages
When these features are available, online payments are handled by our payment partner, and SMS and WhatsApp reminders are sent through our messaging providers. Their own terms also apply. You are responsible for the content of the reminders you send, for having your subscribers’ permission to message them, and for any registration Indian rules require for your SMS templates.
8. Fair use
You agree not to:
- Use Fibrelane for anything unlawful, or to send spam.
- Try to get into another ISP’s data or into parts of the service you are not allowed to use.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, or overload it on purpose.
- Upload anything that contains malware.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep Fibrelane available at all times and to plan maintenance outside Indian working hours, with notice where we can. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we don’t promise a specific uptime. Support is by email at support@fibrelane.com during Indian working days.
10. Your name, logo and subdomain
Each ISP gets its own subdomain, such as yourname.fibrelane.com, and can show its own name, logo and colours in the console. You confirm you have the right to use them. We may ask you to change a subdomain that is misleading or belongs to someone else.
We will not name you as a customer in our marketing without your written permission.
11. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other’s non public business information confidential and use it only for this agreement.
12. Our software
Fibrelane and everything we build stays ours. You get the right to use it for your business while you are a customer. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.
13. Ending the agreement
You can stop at the end of any billing period by writing to support@fibrelane.com. We can end or pause the service if you seriously break these terms and don’t fix it within [15] days of our notice, or straight away if the law requires. Either way, you can export your data for [30 days] before we delete it.
14. Our responsibility to you
We provide Fibrelane with reasonable skill and care, but we can’t promise it will be free of every error. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost revenue, and our total responsibility under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You agree to cover us for claims that arise from data or content you put into Fibrelane, or from your breach of these terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will email the account owner at least [30] days before a change that matters takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can stop before then.
16. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in [Pune, Maharashtra] have jurisdiction over any dispute. We will always try to sort things out by talking first.
